M. Smith Griffith Grand Hall

The generously sized M. Smith Griffith Grand Hall features maple paneling with modern touches of brushed steel, illuminated milk glass and gray terrazzo floors. Guests enjoy sweeping views of the museum’s Jane and Harry Willson Sculpture Garden through a wall of oversized windows. Combine the grand hall with the sculpture garden, the Education Center or the auditorium to enhance your event.

Jane and Harry Willson Sculpture Garden

The Willson Sculpture Garden provides an outdoor space perfect for an intimate luncheon or elegant wedding ceremony and can accommodate a 30 x 50-foot tent. Changing sculpture exhibitions and modern touches of cement tiles lined with green grass, bamboo and a gentle waterfall fountain help make your event unforgettable. The sculpture garden can host your event on its own or together with the grand hall for your reception or ceremony.

M. Smith Griffith Auditorium

If you are hosting a performance or multimedia event, the M. Smith Griffith Auditorium is ideal for films, chorales, lectures, meetings or small theatrical performances. In addition to a stage, it contains audio and film equipment, infrared headsets for guests with hearing impairment, a backstage and dressing rooms. All events that use slides, films or visual presentations require an audiovisual technician.

Education Center

The Education Center offers floor-to-ceiling views of the University of Georgia’s Performing and Visual Arts Complex. This space is the perfect venue for a reception, small luncheon or informal meeting. A projector and screen are available for presentations.
