Sunday Slowdown

Take a pause with us at the museum during this day-long program dedicated to mindfulness, movement and making. From meditation and tai chi to mindful art-making and restorative yoga, the museum offers a chance to recharge and reconnect through art and wellness practices. Drop in for one session or stay for the full afternoon.

  • 1 – 6 p.m.: Mindful artmaking open studio in the Mary and Michael Erlanger Studio Classroom
  • 1 – 1:50 p.m.: Guided meditation in the galleries
  • 2 – 2:50 p.m.: Tai chi in the lobby
  • 3 – 3:50 p.m.: Sound bath meditation in “Edmonia Lewis: Said in Stone” 
  • 5 – 6 p.m.: Yoga in the Galleries
