The Shannon and Peter Candler Collection Study Room provides access to works of art from the museum’s permanent collection that are not currently on view in the galleries. Faculty, students, researchers and members of the public may make a request for an object or group of objects to be pulled from storage for viewing in this room. Please complete and submit the Collection Study Visit Request form on this page at least 3 weeks before your preferred date to request a visit to the collection study room. Scheduled class visits have a maximum duration of 2 hours. After we receive your request, museum staff will be in touch to confirm the date and time of your appointment. Your visit is not booked until you receive a confirmation email. The confirmation email will contain instructions on how to send your list of requested objects for viewing. Please email gmoa-tours@uga.edu if you have scheduling questions or if you do not receive a response within 2 business days of completing this form.
