Earth Day is celebrated every year. On April 22, people around the world take time to think about how special our planet is. They also think about how we can help protect it.
Planet Earth is home for all living things. What are some living things you can think of that call Earth home?
Lots of artists are inspired by how beautiful the world is. They paint pictures of the natural world they see around them. Take a closer look at these paintings. Can you find examples of nature? Look for water, growing things and the sky.
Now it is your turn to make a work of art. You are going to make a painting of planet Earth.
