Let’s take a closer look at the painting above. Take a moment to look at it and see as much as you can. What do you see? What colors can you find? Do those colors make you think of something else? Like a strawberry or a flower or the ocean?
Now it is time to make your own rainbow!
You will need:
- A paper towel
- Markers
- Spoon
- Water
How to make a color explosion:
- Draw with markers on the paper towel.
- Place the paper towel on a tray or outside on a flat surface.
- Fill a bowl with water. Drop spoonfuls of water onto your drawings.
- Watch the colors explode and run into each other!
