An additional rights to reproduction fee also applies. Each request for rights to reproduction is assessed individually and fees are charged according to the scope of each project. You will be asked to complete and sign an application for rights to reproduction supplied to you by the registrar for rights to reproduction. Rush orders

Requests for fulfilling orders in less than 4 weeks will be considered rush orders and an additional surcharge of $50 will apply.

New photography

Due to construction on our Phase II expansion, there is a moratorium on all requests for new photography (objects that have not yet been photographed) until further notice. The registrar for rights to reproduction will continue to accommodate requests for existing photography (objects that have already been photographed).

Postage and handling

A fee of $5 for postage and handling will apply to each order. Your photographs will be mailed to you via USPS Priority Mail immediately upon receipt of prepayment. If you prefer that your materials be sent via UPS or FedEx, you must supply your account number to the registrar for rights to reproduction.

Prepayment of fees

The University of Georgia requires prepayment of all fees before photographs may be released. After you submit your request for photography and/or reproduction rights, the registrar for rights to reproduction will provide you with a schedule of fees for your particular project and send you an invoice. Direct all payments to the registrar for rights to reproduction, who will send out your order immediately upon receipt of payment. The Georgia Museum of Art accepts checks or money orders in US Dollars only or credit card payments.

Copyright

The Georgia Museum of Art can grant the permissions requested only to the extent of its ownership of the rights relating to the request. Certain works of art, as well as the photographs of those works of art, may be protected by copyright, trademark or related interests not owned by the Georgia Museum of Art. The responsibility of ascertaining whether any such rights exist and for obtaining all other necessary permissions remains with the applicant.
