Book A Tour
If a public tour does not fit your schedule or group needs, consider scheduling a private group tour. We offer a variety of adult and K – 12 tours led by museum docents, and special accommodations can be made for the Deaf and hard of hearing. Tour requests must be made at least 2 weeks in advance, are based on schedule availability, and are limited to groups of 5 or more. To learn more about group tours, please contact the education department at firstname.lastname@example.org or request a tour online. See below for more information for K – 12 school groups.
Suggestions for Your Visit
Groups arriving by bus may be dropped off at the turnaround between the Performing Arts Center and the School of Music, which is located in lot E11 on River Road. Visitors can then walk through the Performing and Visual Arts Complex quad to the front door of the museum. Buses must park past the intramural fields in designated bus parking by the Redcoat Band practice field (see map).

Please arrive on time, call if there are any changes.
The docents are volunteering their time and have made arrangements to be here at the museum to give you a tour. Please help make the most of your visit by arriving promptly.
Stay with the group.
We ask that all chaperones and teachers stay with the group and assist the docent with group management and behavior.
Mind your museum manners.
Please do not touch the works of art. If your group would like to stop by our Museum Shop, please limit the number of persons to five at one time.
Relax and Enjoy!
Visiting the museum is an enjoyable experience. Ask questions, make observations, involve yourself in the tour. The museum’s collection and exhibitions are so diverse, there is sure to be something for everyone.
