American chair design is functional as well as sculptural. Check out historic and contemporary examples of show-stopper chairs as art from the exhibition “The Art of Seating,” and then design your own functional sculpture from home using a free art kit you can pick up from the museum. Family Day is sponsored by Heyward Allen Motor Co., Inc., Heyward Allen Toyota and the Friends of the Georgia Museum of Art.
