90 Carlton: Autumn

Special Events

Join the Friends of the Georgia Museum of Art for a quarterly open house. Enjoy 1960s and 1970s California music inspired by "De Wain Valentine: Human Scale" courtesy of DJ Chris Rasmussen of Secret Sounds Records, a printmaking workshop, snacks and tours. Featuring "George Beattie's Agriculture Murals," "The Epic and the Intimate: French Drawings from the John D. Reilly Collection at the Snite Museum of Art," Francisco de Goya's "Disasters of War," "The New York Collection for Stockholm," "The South in Black and White: The Graphic Works of James E. Routh Jr., 1939-1946 and "De Wain Valentine: Human Scale." Free and open to the public.
 

6:30 pm: tour, "De Wain Valentine: Human Scale" with collector Randall Ott and museum curators
7:00 pm: printmaking in the Education Classroom

7:25 p​m: Paul Manoguerra, chief curator and curator of American art, will present a demonstration of Fletcher Benton's kinetic sculpture "Synchronetic R-1000" on the Patsy Dudley Pate Balcony.
7:30 pm: tour, "The New York Collection for Stockholm" with Pierre Daura Curator of European Art Lynn Boland
